Use those Old Cards
December 13, 2008 by leahsfrog
I have hundreds of thank you and Holiday cards stashed away in my closets and drawers, every year I go through and split them in half keep the portion written on and place the covers in my scrapping arsenal. I use them whenever I scrap a page that either corrisponds to the giver of the card or the general theme.

Well, they look beautiful from my end and they load fairly quick. Do you have dial-up? That may be why it takes awhile for it to load for you. I will ask another forum owner how she handles picture uploads to see if I can help this problem.

Oh, hun I have been so friggin busy and lacking lately. My daughter is ill, no idea whats wrong with her, and I have not been keeping my promise of a kit a month. I'm regretting that, ok well all I need is; a paypal donate button info(so they are paid directly), color scheme, and suggested items you would like included ie: wordart, bows and such, once this is figured out I will start strumming up guests designers to contribute to the kit.
I have lost touch recently with a few but I know many will be willing to help contribute for a good cause.
I have a new website http://leahsfrogscreations.com that I will be moving everything to as soon as I figure out how to do that(I am not impressed with the host I chose absolutely no help and I am completely stuck). I am creating a forum and blog specifically for the Scrap for Charity campaigns as well as a store front that will host items that others contribute that a portion of the sales go into a charity account to be distributed according to member votes.
If you know anyone who has knowledge of an oscommerce shop and could help I will trade free use of all my kits(current and all future ones) for some help I am so desperate.

Mission
Our Mission is to guide the search for a cure and treatments, to educate and support medical professionals, and to create a caring worldwide community for affected families.
Goals
The Trisomy 18 Foundation has five goals:
To insure that all appropriate physicians and health care providers are aware of the full range of health outcomes, have ready access to the latest information to insure more accurate diagnosis and prognosis, and can easily make use of the resources they need to provide access to effective medical treatments and psycho-social care for the entire family.
To encourage, guide, and fund additional research to advance knowledge of the syndrome and improve treatments for affected children, and ultimately to develop a “cure” to Trisomy 18 chromosomal errors in the earliest stages of pregnancies.
To create a caring worldwide community that will offer each Trisomy 18 family information, guidance, and emotional support.
To build and sustain a broad base of concerned contributors who will provide the necessary funds to accomplish these mission and goals.
To create, inspire, and make effective use of an organization of passionate individuals dedicated to reaching our vision; a world in which Trisomy 18 is preventable and treatable and every family has access to compassionate and knowledgeable care that respects the humanity of their child.
